I run grant programs, communications efforts and scientific and social programming for the Harvard Brain Science Initiative (HBI). The things I most enjoy about this work are the community-building, the chance to learn about new scientific discoveries, and the opportunity to interact with people at varied career stages, coming from basic and clinical perspectives.
Prior to this position, I was Director of Programing and Outreach at the Conte Center at Harvard, focused on developmental origins of mental health and illness. I am a graduate of the Harvard PhD Program in Neuroscience and have a BS/MS in Neuroscience and Minor in Creative Writing from Brandeis University. For fun I enjoy cooking, traveling, and learning about gardening.
