Josh Sanes Elected to British Royal Society

Congratulations to Joshua Sanes, the John C. Tarr Professor of Molecular and Cellular Biology, on being been named a Fellow of the British Royal Society. Sanes, who was the founding director of Harvard’s Center for Brain Science (CBS) and served as founding Co-Director of the Harvard Brain Science until 2021, was recognized for his pioneering research on the formation and specificity of synapses—the connections between neurons that are fundamental to brain function.
