Congratulations to Chenghua Gu on Receiving Tenure

On October 6th, the Department of Neuroscience celebrated Chengua Gu becoming a tenured Professor of Neurobiology at Harvard Medical School. Gu received her Ph.D from Cornell Medical School completed her post-doctoral training at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, and has been at Harvard since 2006.

The Gu Lab is interested in the molecular mechanisms governing the formation and function of the blood-brain barrier. They have identified key molecules and a previously unappreciated mechanism that controls the blood-brain barrier function. This information will be essential for drug delivery to the central nervous system to treat neurological diseases and brain tumors.
