Elizabeth Rossin, HMS assistant professor of ophthalmology at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, is the 2024 recipient of the Bert M. Glaser, MD Award for Innovative Research in Retina from the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO).

Humsa Venkatesh, HMS assistant professor of neurology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, receives Damon Runyon-Cachleff Innovation Award for her project, “Identifying and disrupting the bioelectric circuits driving brain cancer“.

Rachel S. Greenberg, research fellow in cell biology in the Blavatnik Institute at HMS, receives the Damon Runyon–Dale F. Frey Award for Breakthrough Scientists for her project, “The function of interoceptive circuits in reproduction and cancer.”

Healey & AMG Center for ALS at Massachusetts General Hospital has been awarded $1.25 million over five years from EverythingALS as an extension to the Vision 2030 AI Hub, an innovative model aimed at accelerating ALS research through the use of artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and data science.
