PiN students Ella Perrault (Hwang lab, Mass. General Hospital) and Olumide Fagboyegun (Stevens lab, Boston Children’s Hospital) were named as HHMI Gilliam Fellows.

Michael Charness (HMS professor of neurology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and chief of staff for the VA Boston Healthcare System), has received the Veterans Health Administration’s Wolcott Award for Excellence in Clinical Care Leadership.

Jeeyun Chung (assistant professor of molecular and cellular biology, Harvard) and Jordan Farrell (assistant professor of neurology, Boston Children’s Hospital) have received a Klingenstein-Simons Fellowship Award in Neuroscience. Chung also received the Charles H. Hood Foundation Child Health Research Award.

Daniel Gilbert (professor of psychology at Harvard) was elected to the American Philosophical Society (APS).

Steven M. Greenberg, HMS professor of neurology at Massachusetts General Hospital, and Hadine Joffe, Professor of Psychiatry in the Field of Women’s Health at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, awarded the William Silen Lifetime Achievement in Mentoring Award.

Ana-Maria Vranceanu, associate professor of psychology at Mass. General Hospital, awarded the A. Clifford Barger Excellence in Mentoring Award.

Louisa Sylvia, associate professor of psychology at Mass. General Hospital, awarded the Shirley Driscoll Dean’s Leadership Award for the Enhancement of Women’s Careers.
