Shijia Liu (research fellow, Sabatini lab), Noah Pettit (research fellow, Wilson lab), and Trey Scott (research fellow, Pierce lab) have been named 2024 Jane Coffin Childs Fellows by the Jane Coffin Childs Fund for Medical Research (JCC).

Graduate students Dionnet Bhatti (Fishell lab, HMS), Olumide Fagboyegun (Stevens lab, BCH/HMS), and Busola Olukoya (Goodrich lab, HMS) were awarded the Program in Neuroscience Excellence in Service award for their work as student leaders for Underrepresented Scholars in Neuroscience.

Steven McCarroll, the Dorothy and Milton Flier Professor of Biomedical Science and Genetics at HMS and director of genomic neurobiology in the Stanley Center for Psychiatric Research at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, is among five researchers from Harvard Medical School newly named as HHMI Investigators.

Fabian Voigt (Engert lab, Harvard) was awarded Branco Weiss Fellowship.
