Awards and Honors from January 2022

The Allen Discovery Center for Human Brain Evolution at Boston Children’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School and received $10M in renewal funding from the Paul G. Allen Frontiers Group. The Center, bringing together the labs of Christopher A. Walsh, Michael Greenberg and David Reich, will continue its research on the genetic, molecular and evolutionary forces that have given rise to the spectacular capacities of the human brain. Robert Farese and Tobias Walther won the 2022 ASBMB-Merck Award, for outstanding contributions to research in biochemistry and molecular biology.
