Elizabeth was one of the founders and dedicated leaders of the HBI Neural Development Club over the past two years. Along with Michelle Frank, Ivan Santiago and GaYoung Lee, Elizabeth started this community of scientists from diverse scientific backgrounds and departments with a shared interest in neural circuit development and how it informs nervous system function and dysfunction. Elizabeth earned her PhD from the Program in Neuroscience this summer and is now off to the University of Michigan, to start a postdoc in the lab of Bing Ye.
