I support collaboration amongst scholars, researchers and faculty. Currently, I am working with scientists at Harvard’s Center for Brain Science as Event Coordinator. I have been around the block at Harvard – over 25 years in Crimson service.

What has been one of the most exciting or surprising moments in your career so far?
I was delivering materials to an office and entered to find Bono visiting.  He was very pleasant!

Who or what most inspires you and why?
I am inspired by the curiosity and attention to detail of so many scientists. The “calling” to explore fruit flies or sand particles or whatever else(!) toward achieving a bigger picture goal is very compelling. I come from a family of scientists and math nerds.

What are some of your interests outside the office?
I am a wife, mother, daughter, yoga instructor, singer, swimmer, hiker, quilter, avid reader, enjoy theater and musicals, am active in local government and love watching good soccer. I’m also interested in languages and fluent in French.

What do you feel most passionately about?
I am most passionate about building community and sharing resources. We share this world–so why not build bridges?  We all have something to offer and we can learn so much from one another.
