Parkinson’s Disease 101

Dr. Khurana will give a broad overview of what we know about Parkinson’s disease – from diagnostic methods and current treatment approaches in the clinic to the underlying neurobiology of the disease. He will detail the most significant hurdles that remain between the current state of the science and our ability to prevent or slow disease, and the role his own work using stem cells and genomics is playing to overcome them.
