Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID) is a new diagnosis that captures individuals who restrict their eating due to extreme picky eating, fears of vomiting or choking while eating, and/or a lack of interest in food. Join Drs. Thomas and Becker to learn more about the clinical presentation and treatment ARFID, as well as their ongoing work funded by the National Institute of Mental Health to identify biomarkers of the disorder across brain, hormones, and behavior.”
