Axon Biology Group Launch Event

We are very excited to invite you to the Launch Event for the Axon Biology Group, which will take place on 13th March at 4pm in Armenise 108. The event will consist of two trainee talks, followed by Q&A session and refreshments. This week our speakers are:

Veselina Petrova (Postdoc, Woolf Lab, Boston Children’s Hospital)
Protrudin amplifies optic nerve regeneration induced by a gene-regulatory regimen

Priya Veeraraghavan (Graduate Student, Macklis Lab, Harvard Stem Cell Institute)
Subtype- and context-dependent subcellular RNA regulation in growth cones of neocortical projection neurons

At the Axon Biology Group, we aim at bringing together Harvard-based scientists who have a special interest in studying axon biology in the context of health and disease. We plan to establish a platform for researchers to share their latest discoveries, get constructive feedback, exchange cutting-edge techniques, form long-lasting collaborations, and meet some new friends.
