Postdoctoral Fellow / Department of Molecular and Cellular Biology

I studied biology and neuroscience in University of Tokyo in Japan. In my PhD, I worked on the study of brain anatomy and social behavior in adult medaka fish. Afterwards, I joined the Florian Engert lab at Harvard University as a postdoctoral fellow. I am interested in the evolutionary diversity in the brain and behavior, and currently working on comparative studies using teleost larvae. My another goal is to establish larval medaka fish as animal model for neuroscience research.
