I am a postdoc in Dr. Stephen Liberles’ Lab, studying the neural coding of internal senses (satiety, hunger, visceral pain, nausea, hypoxia, etc) in the brain. Previously, I did my undergraduate research with Dr. Guosong Liu (Tsinghua University) on learning and memory, psychiatric disease, and synaptic plasticity, and Dr. Paul Taghert (Washington University in St. Louis) on fly circadian rhythm. For my PhD, I worked in the labs of Drs. Xiaoke Chen and Liqun Luo at Stanford University, where I used in vivo spinal cord calcium imaging to study the coding of somatosensory stimuli.
