I am a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Harvard Medical School in the Division of Sleep and Circadian Disorders, Departments of Medicine and Neurology, at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, MA and a Teaching Fellow at Harvard College in Cambridge, MA. I am training under Dr. Frank A.J.L. Scheer in the Medical Chronobiology Program and running the postdoctoral project described below. I earned my Ph.D. in Neuroscience in 2015 as a graduate student in the Department of Neurology at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, IL. Under the mentorship of Dr. Phyllis C. Zee, I conducted my doctoral research on light exposure’s impacts on sleep and cardio-metabolic function. I became interested in the fields of sleep and circadian rhythms during my undergraduate studies at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA, where I completed my honors thesis on sleep deprivation and weight regulation under the mentorship of Dr. David F. Dinges.
