HBI Connectome
Andreas Horn
Associate Professor of Neurology / Department of Neurology, Brigham & Women's Hospital
I am interested in connectivity and causality in the brain, the human connectome, and its structure-function relationship. As a clinical case of connectomics, I study effects of deep brain stimulation on aberrant circuitries that lead to brain disorders, such as Parkinson’s Disease, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder or Alzheimer’s Disease. Both interests are often realized by furthering development of an openly available processing toolbox (www.lead-dbs.org).
