The Division of Neurotherapeutics encompasses all surgical and/or device-related treatments for psychiatric illness. These include electroconvulsive therapy (ECT), transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), vagus nerve stimulation (VNS), ablative limbic system procedures (e.g., anterior cingulotomy), transcranial focused ultrasound (tFUS), and deep brain stimulation (DBS).
